Ursula Rucker for free!!!

The concert by Ursula Rucker at this year's Wroclaw Non Stop will be open to the public without tickets. Admission is free and no advance booking is required — the audience simply comes to the venue on the day.

Ursula Rucker is a poet and vocalist from Philadelphia who works on the border of spoken word, soul and electronic music. Her performances are built around the spoken text, with the band following the voice rather than the other way round, which makes them closer to a reading with music than to a conventional concert.

Free admission means the capacity of the venue decides how many people get in, and the festival's free concerts fill up early. Coming ahead of the announced hour is the only way to be sure of a place.
