The festival runs for ten days at the height of summer, and it is not the only thing happening in Wroclaw at that time. Visitors who plan to stay for several days are advised to arrange a room well in advance: the last week before the opening is the point at which the cheaper places are gone.
The city offers the full range — hotels in the Old Town within walking distance of the main venues, guesthouses and apartments in the surrounding districts, and student halls that open to travellers over the summer holidays and remain the least expensive option.
Staying in the centre has a practical advantage during this particular festival. The programme is dispersed across the city and the evening events end late, so a room within walking distance of the Market Square saves the trouble of getting back across town at night.
The festival office does not run its own booking service. Enquiries about groups and about visiting artists are handled directly through the office, using the details given in the contact section.
