Interdisciplinary

The interdisciplinary section holds what does not fit the other three: projects that cross between music, theatre and visual art, and projects whose material is the city itself — its history, its districts, the people who live in them.

Items of this kind are usually made for one place and one occasion. A reconstruction on an open field, a project about the women of the city, a work drawing a line between Wroclaw and another city — none of these can be filed as a concert or an exhibition, and all of them take a form built for the particular material.

This is also the section where the audience most often takes part rather than watches. Several of the projects are open in the literal sense: anyone can join them, and what comes out is made collectively.
