Wroclaw Celebration Picnic

The Wroclaw Celebration Picnic is the open-air, all-ages part of the festival: a whole day in the open, with several small stages, activities for children and food stalls, arranged around the city's celebration days.

The picnic works differently from the evening concerts. People come with families, stay for a few hours, drift between the stages and do not follow a schedule — the programme is arranged so that something is always starting somewhere.

Events of this kind are what make the festival a city event rather than a series of concerts. The audience here overlaps only partly with the one at the headline evening shows.
